<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic device capable of reducing unpleasantness given to a user when one image is displayed across two screens. <P>SOLUTION: A portable electronic device includes: face recognition means for detecting a face area included in an image; determination means for determining whether or not the detected face area is displayed across two displays when the image is displayed in a standard arrangement mode which defines conditions of a display position and a display size; and display control means for displaying the image in the standard arrangement mode when it is determined that the face area is displayed without being split across the two displays, and displaying the image in a mode in which the display position and/or the display size is changed so that the whole face area is displayed on one of the displays when the face area is determined to be displayed across the two displays. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
