<p>An electromagnetic relay includes an electromagnet that generates a magnetic field when electric current is supplied thereto, an actuator that is actuated in response to the generated magnetic field, a contact that opens and closes in response to the actuation of the actuator, the contact including a first contact and a second contact that contacts with the first contact when the contact closes, and a housing including a first housing that includes walls defining a recess that accommodates the electromagnet, the actuator and the contact therein, and a second housing that is fixed to the first housing and covers the recess of the first housing. The electromagnetic relay also includes a permanent magnet provided on an outer surface of the housing at a position corresponding to a position of the contact.</p> |
