<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice hulling and sorting machine that can prevent skin abrasion of brown rice due to rehulling by efficiently sorting brown rice in a rice hulling area of multistage swing sorting plates with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The rice hulling and sorting machine is arranged with swing sorting plates (11), which perform gravity separation of hulled grains by lateral swing movement thereof, in a multistage manner, and provided with a rehulling passage (4b) for returning the grains in a chaff area (B) of each swing sorting plate (11) to a hulling device (2), and a resorting passage (4c) for returning the grains from a discharge end of a mixed rice area (C) of each swing sorting plate (11) to the swing sorting plate (11), whereby the rice hulling and sorting machine is configured to sort brown rice. The rehulling passage (4b) is provided with a chaff guide port (21) contacting each swing sorting plate (11). The chaff guide port (21) is provided with a perforated plate (21a) allowing passing of brown rice among the guided grains.
