According to the present invention, disclosed is a vertical water tube/smoke tube composite type hot water boiler. The vertical water tube/smoke tube composite type hot water boiler of the present invention includes: a water tube unit which forms a combustion chamber by arranging a number of water tubes between an upper header and a lower header, and has a hot water outlet; a body which has an exchanging water hole and is filled with water; a smoke tube unit which has a number of smoke tubes through which a combustion gas passes by being bonded to penetrate an upper plane and a lower plane of the body, and is arranged in parallel with the water tube; a burner which is installed on the top of the water tube unit; and a connection unit which constitutes a post-combustion chamber as connecting the bottoms of the water tube unit and the smoke tube unit. The inside of the smoke tube unit body is partitioned into an area where smoke tubes are arranged and an area where water tubes of the connection unit are arranged. A blocking inner tube is installed to connect two areas on the upper part in the body, and the exchanging water hole is arranged on the bottom of the smoke tube unit body and is linked with the blocking inner tube. The exchanging water hole is installed in the tangential direction of the blocking inner tube and induces the exchanged water to flow upward as rotating in the blocking inner tube. The present invention minimizes damage to the smoke tube due to thermal shocks since the exchanged water exchanges heat with the smoke tubes in the blocking inner tube and moves toward the top and then flows to the connection water tube on the bottom of the body naturally. Therefore, the present invention has the effect of reducing maintenance costs and expanding lifespan of the vertical water tube/smoke tube composite type hot water boiler. |
