摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic-based composite material to be used for a gas turbine of a combustion temperature of 1,700°C-1,800°C in which a ceramic matrix made of a material having high heat resistance and environment resistance is fiber-reinforced with fiber having high heat resistance and environment resistance.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a composite material includes a first step for providing a fiber sheet knitted out of zirconia continuous fiber, a second step for preparing slurry blended with fine BaZrOpowder and coarse BaZrOpowder at a prescribed ratio, the prescribed ratio being determined so as to suppress shrinkage in burning a matrix, and a third step for charging the slurry of the BaZrOpowder and the fiber sheet in a mold of a predetermined shape. The slurry of the BaZrOpowder charged in the mold is dehydrated and then cured by heating from an ordinary temperature to a maximum heating temperature at a heating rate to inhibit a crack.
