PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the outside diameter of a shift drum while making it possible to establish a desired number of gear positions.SOLUTION: First to third engagement device groups S1 to S3, C2, C4, and C5 changing power transmission states of input gear groups G1 and G2, first sub-input gear groups G3 and G4, and second sub-input gear groups G5 and G6 include first to third synchronizing devices S1 to S3, respectively, and a speed change gear 15 actuating the first to third synchronizing devices S1 to S3 includes first to third shift drums 17a to 17c. The first to third shift drums 17a to 17c are configured to rotate in the same phase and to have always different shift patterns in different phases, and can establish different gear positions even in the same shift pattern depending on a combination of engagement and disengagement of clutches C1 to C5. It is, therefore, possible to reduce overall lengths of guide grooves 20a to 20d of the first to third shift drums 17a to 17c and to reduce outside diameters of the first to third shift drums 17a to 17c while making it possible to establish a desired number of gear positions to be established.
|
