PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing method for an exchange facility for supporting the securing transmission of a link layer.SOLUTION: An exchange facility for supporting the security transmission of a link layer includes an exchange module and multi-port modules. Each port module and the exchange module are electrically adjacent to each other. The port module supports key management capability of the link layer. A common key for performing encryption/decryption of data frame is established between the exchange facility and the other network nodes.
