PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the conventional writing instrument in which: a clip is attached so as to be integrated with a barrel in an exposed manner, so that when the writing instrument is rotated to the left and right, the exposed clip comes into contact with a finger or the base of the finger, and the writing instrument cannot be smoothly rotated.SOLUTION: In the rear part of the outer peripheral surface of a barrel, there is formed a recessed groove part for retraction which is used for retracting the raising part of a clip therein and has almost a recessed groove shape extending in a front-rear direction, and the raising part is retracted in the part. The surface shape of the raising part and the surface shape of the outer peripheral surface of the barrel are formed in almost the same shape. In addition, the raising part is retracted in the recessed groove part for retraction in such a manner that the surface part of the raising part is not protruded from the outer peripheral surface of the barrel. |
