PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric motor capable of stabilizing a vibration body, obtaining sufficient vibration characteristics and reducing occurrence of non-uniformity in displacement speed and driving force of a body to be driven due to a displacement direction of the body to be driven.SOLUTION: A piezoelectric motor comprises: a vibration body having a contact portion brought into contact with a body to be driven provided in a displaceable manner and a piezoelectric element provided at an opposite side of the contact portion to the body to be driven, vibrating by applying voltage to the piezoelectric element and displacing the body to be driven by applying force to the body to be driven; a holding section holding the vibration body so as to allow the vibration body to vibrate; a base; and a pair of elastic bodies coupling the holding section and the base and biasing the vibration body toward the body to be driven via the holding section. An angle α between a first straight line obtained by connecting a first portion where the pair of elastic bodies are fixed to the base and a second portion where the elastic bodies are fixed to the holding section and a pressing direction of the vibration body by the elastic body is equal to 85° or more and equal to 95° or less. |
