PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost data processing device capable of performing highly accurate simulation at a high speed, and further to provide a data processing program.SOLUTION: A data processing device comprises: a control point calculation section calculating target position coordinates where each point of a first model is to be moved corresponding to a second model when a first object is deformed in accordance with a second object on the basis of the first model representing a shape of the first object, a deformation parameter representing characteristics of deformation of the first object and the second model representing a shape of the second object; and a deformation processing section calculating arrival position coordinates such that a total sum taking importance of each point of an absolute value of a difference between the target position coordinates and the arrival position coordinates where each point arrives into account becomes minimum.
