PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power conversion device detachably storing plural stack units and a preliminary stack unit in a panel capable of, when the stack unit fails, preventing erroneous insertion of an output conductor into the preliminary stack unit by using output conductors having different shapes for respective phases on a failed stack unit.SOLUTION: When a U-phase stack unit 100 gets failed, a power switch SW1 of the U-phase stack unit is turned OFF. A U-phase output conductor 18 connecting a U-phase output terminal 17 to a U-phase output BUS; and a signal line 61 connecting a gate signal input section 14 to a U-phase control section 60a are removed. An output terminal 47 of a preliminary stack unit 400 and an output BUS 49a are connected by using the removed U-phase output conductor 18; and a signal input section 44 and the U-phase control section 60a are connected by using the removed signal line 61.
