<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording method by which image quality degradation is prevented and an image of appropriate image quality can be recorded.SOLUTION: In an ink jet recording method, an ink jet head is used that includes: a first nozzle array in which a plurality of first nozzles for emitting ink are arranged in a first direction at a first interval corresponding to a nozzle density of 100 npi or higher; and a second nozzle array in which a plurality of second nozzles for emitting ink are arranged in the first direction at the first interval. The first nozzle array and the second nozzle array are adjacent to each other in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction at a second interval not shorter than the first interval. The ink jet recording method is for recording an image on a recording medium by emitting ink droplets by using the ink jet head. In the method, emission of ink from the first nozzle array is controlled on the basis of a third interval between the emission face of the ink jet head and the recording side of the recording medium.</p> |
