PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proper cost with respect to printing.SOLUTION: A cost required for printing to a recording medium is calculated on the basis of attribute information of the recording medium used for the printing and a cost determined according to use degree of a consumable part of a printer used for the printing to the recording medium. The calculated cost is output.
