<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable capable of improving workability while preventing the cable from being damaged when laid in a pipeline.SOLUTION: A cable 1 comprises an optical fiber cable 10, a hollow pipe 20 and a sheath 30 covering the optical fiber cable 10 and the hollow pipe 20. The optical fiber cable 10 has a first rigidity, and the hollow pipe 20 has a second rigidity lower than the first rigidity. Since the hollow pipe 20 is first crushed by ice when water infiltrated into a pipeline having the laid cable 1 is frozen to increase the volume, the swelled ice prevents the optical fiber cable 10 from being damaged.</p> |
