The present invention relates to a column supporting a bridge or a building and, more specifically, to a column having a reinforced structure capable of preventing damage caused by an external environment such as an earthquake or tsunami. The column having a reinforced structure according to the present invention includes a cylindrical column, and a reinforced structure for surrounding an external surface of the column to be coupled. The reinforcing structure includes a reinforcing plate spirally surrounding the external surface of the column from a lower end to an upper end. As the column having a reinforced structure according to the present invention spirally surrounds the external surface of the column with a reinforcing plate, a welding part of the reinforcing plate is inclined to disperse an external force applied to the welding part, thereby preventing the welding part from being damaged by bending moment. |
