<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp apparatus that reliably detects a seating clamping state and an un-clamping state of a clamping object via the air pressure of an air passage for feeding pressurized air to an air ejecting hole of a seat surface. <P>SOLUTION: The clamp apparatus C includes: a clamp body 1; a clamp mechanism capable of clamping the clamping object W; the seat surface 18 positioned at a tip of the clamp body 1; the air ejecting hole 18a for detecting the seating, which is opened in the seat surface 18; and the air passage 54 for feeding the pressurized air to the air ejecting hole 18a. The clamp apparatus further includes: a movable member 48 that switches a position thereof between first/second positions according to the clamp/un-clamp movement of the clamp mechanism; an internal air passage 10 formed inside the clamp body and communicating with the outside; and an on/off-valve mechanism 70 that retains an off-valve state that the air passage 54 is cut off from the internal air passage 10 when the movable member 48 is positioned in the first position, and when the movable member 48 is positioned in the second position, retains an on-valve state that the air passage 54 is connected to the internal air passage 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
