<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly visible display device having an accurate touch recognition function with a combination of a light-receiving element and a liquid crystal layer having liquid crystal dispersed in polymer. <P>SOLUTION: A display device including a liquid crystal layer 105 having liquid crystal dispersed in polymer comprises a spacer 108 having a light transmission property such that the spacer 108 is overlaid on a light-receiving element 109 having a touch recognition function.
