<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a vacuum container, such as a wave guide, which has low distortion and high form accuracy, merely by fused joining from outside. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a method of manufacturing a vacuum container comprising: a pair of side plates 2 in which step portions are formed at upper and lower ends; and upper and lower plates 1 which fit in the step portions.
