PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make joint strength between both cases even if the thickness of wall portions of the cases are thinned to downsize outer shapes, in a camera module storing an internal structure in a storage space formed by joining the two cases, and to enable the downsizing of the camera module even if external connecting means is provided so as to projecting out from side wall surfaces of the cases, when the two cases are joined by ultrasonic welding.SOLUTION: A joint surface on which two cases are joined, is inclined to a plane surface orthogonal to an optical axis direction of a lens unit stored in the inside of a camera module. Therefore, as compared with a case that the joint surface is parallel with the plane surface orthogonal to the optical axis direction, an area of the joint surface is expanded, so that sufficient joint strength can be obtained. An interference between a horn for applying ultrasonic waves during ultrasonic welding and external connecting means is avoided, so that the downsizing of the camera module is enabled. |
