A controller is formed by an optical coupler (OKE) and is itself under the influence of a first transistor switch (TI) monitoring the primary potential (PU). It operates a thyristor configuration switch part (THK) which activates a signalling device (SE) when the secondary potential (SU) becomes effective. The thyristor configuration has pref a capacitance (C2) opposing the firing operation upon rapid rise of the secondary potential. The capacitor is coupled between the control gate (G) and the cathode connection (K). ADVANTAGE - In relevant states has very low dissipation, working without auxiliary voltages. Even after long periods of inactivity scarcely reaches active state.
