PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide transmission system and device that can be enhanced in efficiency of data transmission.SOLUTION: A transmission device 1 has a port information manager 50 for acquiring port information containing the type of I/F 10, a transmission rate and the number of physical lanes for each I/F 10, and determining the number of virtual lanes converted from the physical lanes from each I/F 10 on the basis of the port information, a virtual lane part 20 which is connected to the physical lanes from each I/F 10 and sets virtual lanes of the virtual lane number every I/F 10, a lane information creator 60 for creating lane information for associating the I/F 10, the number of the physical lanes from the I/F 10, and the virtual lane number set by the virtual lane part 20 according to the physical lanes, and a multiplexing part 40 for multiplexing data for transmitting the virtual lanes and inserting the lane information in an invalid data area occurring during multiplexing. |
