PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition capable of showing a high raw material conversion rate equivalent to a conventional technology in a catalytic reaction, especially in a hydrogenation reaction of an aromatic nitro compound, and capable of continuing a stable catalytic reaction over a long period.SOLUTION: A composition contains 20-50 wt.% copper, 1-15 wt.% zinc, and an oxide containing at least one kind in a group comprising aluminum, silicon and calcium. The composition preferably contains at least one kind in a group comprising magnesium, strontium, barium and aluminum. |
