PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbocharger capable of preventing the biased temperature of mixed air of a mixture of recirculated exhaust gas and intake air and suppressing degradations in efficiency and reliability, and a diesel engine with the same.SOLUTION: A turbocharger comprises: a turbine 2 driven to rotate by exhaust gas discharged from a diesel engine; a rotary shaft 6 having one end to which the turbine 2 is provided; a compressor 3 provided on the other end of the rotary shaft 6, and driven to rotate by driving the turbine 2 to rotate to thereby compress air drawn in from an inlet 11a; and mixing means 20 provided upstream of the inlet 11a, the mixing means 20 being provided between a silencer 13 into which the air is introduced and the compressor 3, and the mixing means 20 mixing up the air and part of the exhaust gas to introduce the mixed air to the inlet 11a. |
