PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing amphotericin B liposomes without using toxic chloroform.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing liposomes encapsulating amphotericin B, which comprises the steps of: (1) forming a complex solution containing a phospholipid-amphotericin B complex by mixing an amphotericin B solution and a first phospholipid solution, wherein the first phospholipid solution is prepared by adding a lower alcohol and an aprotic polar solvent to a first phospholipid and then adding an acidifying solution, and the amphotericin B solution is prepared by adding an aprotic polar solvent to amphotericin B; and (2) forming a crude liposome solution containing crude liposomes by adding a second phospholipid solution to the complex solution and then hydrating the mixture, wherein the second phospholipid solution is prepared by adding a lower alcohol to a second phospholipid and cholesterol. |
