The present invention relates to a method for calculating a hyperemia grade and a device thereof, specifically, to a method for calculating a hyperemia grade by applying a contrast limited adaptive histogram equalization (CLAHE) algorithm to image information of a sclera area of an eyeball wherein the sclera area is a white film surrounding the most eye ball and a part corresponding to an upper part of the white of an eye and a device thereof.
