<p>The method involves detecting a heating zone (Z1), and controlling the detected heating zone with a heat-setpoint value. A new container is inserted on a cooking surface (3). A new heating zone (Z2) is detected on the cooking surface constituted of a subset of induction units (2) partially covered by the new container. The detected new heating zone is controlled with the heat-setpoint value applied for the set of heating zones of the cooking surface. An independent claim is also included for an induction cooktop comprising a set of induction units.</p> |
