<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine combination of piping and wiring in a short time in a multiple type air conditioner having a plurality of indoor units connected to one outdoor unit via branch units. <P>SOLUTION: During cooling operation, the step of closing expansion valves except specific one of expansion valves, in regard to each of the branch units, while opening all expansion valves included in the branch units 310, 320, 330 in cooling operation, and the step of acquiring an indoor temperature Ta by an indoor temperature sensor via electric wiring from each indoor unit, and an indoor heat exchanger temperature Tb by an indoor heat exchanger sensor after the lapse of a predetermined time from closing the expansion valves, are repeated for the number of indoor units connected to the branch units. It is determined that the indoor unit is correctly wired to a relay wiring terminal when an indoor unit indicating the largest temperature difference value between the indoor temperature Ta and the indoor heat exchanger Tb is an indoor unit connected to the one particular expansion valve, and that the they are incorrectly wired in other cases, for each branch unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
