<p>Provided is a device for assisting the development of control programs which is capable of improving the convenience of changes to a unit configuration by making it unnecessary to perform tasks such as updating the memory addresses in a control program when changing the unit configuration. Also provided are a program for assisting the development of control programs and a recording medium. An address table (TB1) indicating the correspondence between port IDs and memory addresses associated with corresponding port IDs is generated, a variable table (TB2) indicating the correspondence between port IDs and variables (Var) associated with corresponding port IDs is generated, the port IDs of the units before a change are overwritten with the port IDs of the units after the change, the port ID corresponding to a variable (Var) is acquired from the variable table (TB2), and the memory address corresponding to the acquired port ID is acquired from the address table (TB1).</p> |
