PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure isolation system, optical subscriber line termination device, and optical amplifier capable of automatically performing isolation of a failure suspicious location in a long reach PON system.SOLUTION: A failure isolation system includes: an OLT 10 and an optical amplifier 20 that perform isolation of a failure suspicious location X by cooperating with each other; and a monitoring server 50 that receives a warning corresponding to a result of the isolation. The OLT 10, when all user's communication is interrupted, transmits a failure notification frame F that is a frame dedicated to exchanging failure information I, to the optical amplifier 20. The optical amplifier 20, when having received the failure notification frame F, checks a device state of the optical amplifier 20 and an interface state, and stores a reason code showing a result of the check in the failure notification frame F, to transmit a response to the OLT 10. |
