PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase single-phase total output of an AC generator capable of performing single-phase and three-phase simultaneous output.SOLUTION: An auxiliary winding (n) generates an induction voltage that is 1/2 in a vector sum with respect to and has a phase difference of 180° from an induction voltage of a reference winding (u) that is a winding of any one phase (U-phase winding (u) is an example shown in the figure) among three-phase windings (u), (v) and (w) of a Y-connected armature coil. The auxiliary winding (n) is connected to a neutral point O and an output terminal N is connected to the auxiliary winding (n). An intermediate tap (t) is provided at a position on the reference winding (u) where a voltage of about 100 V is induced, from the neutral point O, and the output terminal T is connected to the intermediate tap (t). Thus, three-phase four-wire output that is performed via output terminals U, V and W and the neutral point O, single-phase three-wire output that is performed via output terminals V, W and N, and single-phase two-wire output that is performed via the output terminal T and the neutral point O, can be simultaneously performed and single-phase total output is increased. |
