PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which can add a pixel signal in arbitrary pixels whose reduction of an opening rate of a photodiode is suppressed and reading time can be shortened.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: a light receiving circuit where pixels having photoelectric conversion elements, FD capacities for holding electric charges from the photoelectric conversion elements and light receiving circuit connection sections connected to the FD capacities are two-dimensionally arranged; and an addition circuit having a plurality of first direction wiring, a plurality of second direction wiring which extend in a direction different from that of the first direction wiring and are connected to the first direction wiring at a cross section and an addition circuit connection section connected to the light receiving circuit connection section. Connection points with the second direction wiring adjacent on the first direction wiring are connected via a column connection switch. Connection points with the first direction wiring adjacent on the second direction wiring are connected via a row connection switch. The connection points of the first direction wiring and the second direction wiring are connected with the addition circuit connection section via an FD connection switch, and the FD capacities are coupled in arbitrary combination. |
