PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid softening agent composition containing a quaternary ammonium salt having a fatty acid ester structure and having small color tone change due to storage.SOLUTION: There is provided a liquid softening agent composition containing (A) a specific quaternary ammonium salt containing a compound having a fatty ester structure under a specific condition of 5 mass% to 20 mass%, (B) specific pentaerythritol fatty acid ester containing a compound having a fatty acid ester structure under the specific condition of 0.5 mass% to 10 mass%, (C) one or more kinds of salt selected from a calcium salt and a magnesium salt of 0.01 mass% to 3 mass%, (D) a nitrogen-containing compound such as methyl glycine diacetate (MGDA) as an acid type of 0.001 mass% to 0.1 mass%, and water, and having pH of 2.0 to 4.0 at 30°C. |
