PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element display device that can display with high visibility even when an environment of external light changes.SOLUTION: The light-emitting element display device includes: a substrate having a display region composed of a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix; a lower electrode made of a conductor and formed in each of the plurality of pixels on the substrate; an organic layer including a light-emitting layer made of an organic material formed on the lower electrode; an upper electrode made of a conductor formed on the organic layer; a reflective electrode layer formed on a substrate side of the lower electrode and having a common potential in each pixel of the display region; a polymer dispersion type liquid crystal layer disposed between the lower electrode and the reflective electrode layer; an external light sensor for measuring intensity of ambient light; and a reflective electrode controlling unit that changes a potential applied to the reflective electrode layer on the basis of an output of the external light sensor.
