<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer processing apparatus capable of securing a burst resistance by changing the queuing of frame dynamically without changing the hardware configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The transfer processing apparatus transferring a frame from a transmission source port to a destination port comprises: a frame buffer for buffering a high-speed transfer frame; and a high-speed transfer processing unit incorporating a plurality of software queues and performing high-speed transfer processing of the high-speed transfer frame being queued while storing in the frame buffer. The transfer processing apparatus further comprises: a bridge processing unit which performs transfer processing of a non-high-speed frame, determines whether or not the non-high-speed frame can be changed to a high-speed frame, and issues an off-load setting request if the changing is possible; and an off-load setting processing unit which assigns a software queue being applied to the frame that can be changed to a high-speed frame, dynamically. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
