PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve guide structure of an internal combustion engine capable of properly radiating heat from a valve guide to cooling water while securing flexural rigidity of the valve guide.SOLUTION: In a valve guide structure of an internal combustion engine E having a cylinder head 3 provided with a head cooling liquid passage 9, and a substantially cylindrical valve guide 12 mounted on the cylinder head 3 in a state of facing the head cooling liquid passage 9 at a part of its outer face, and slidably supporting an intake valve 10 or an exhaust valve 11, a plurality of recessed portions 12d are arranged in the circumferential direction on an outer peripheral part facing the head cooling liquid passage 9, of the valve guide 12, and ribs 12e formed by the recessed portions 12d adjacent to each other, are extended in the axial direction of the valve guide 12. |
