PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a fuel cell for manufacturing a fuel cell with which adhesive properties between a support part and a separator is improved under a clean environment with a simple method.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a fuel cell includes: a surface modification process S041 for changing properties of a surface itself by modifying the surface 57 of the support part 50 for supporting a membrane electrode assembly 20; a coating process S042 for coating an adhesive S to the surface of the support part modified in the surface modification process; and a bonding process S043 for bonding a separator 30 to the support part through the adhesive coated in the coating process.
