<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus provided with a plurality of sensors. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 includes a plurality of photo interrupters PH11, PH12, PH21, and PH22. Moreover, the apparatus is provided with an output line SEN1 which is connected to the output terminals of both the photo interrupters PH11 and PH12 and is connected to an input terminal IT1 of ASIC15. Moreover, the apparatus is provided with transistors Tr1 and Tr2, which control either one of the photo interrupters PH11 and PH12 to be selectively activated and control the another to be in a non-activated state. Moreover, the apparatus is provided with a charge/discharge circuit 14 which charges/discharges the output line SEN1 so as to cause the electric potential of the output line SEN1 to be a high level during a period until either one of the photo interrupters PH11 and PH12 is changed from the activated state to the non-activated state after the another one is changed from the non-activated state to the activated state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
