CONSTITUTION:A connection detecting circuit 25 detects whether bases 2, 3 of a conductor and the bulb insertion port 4 of the conductor are electrically connected or not, if it detects that the bulb insertion port 4 and the bases 2, 3 are not connected, it outputs a break-off signal to a drive control circuit 23, and the drive control circuit 23 cuts off the voltage applied to a discharge lamp bulb 33.</p> |
