<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal can having high designability. <P>SOLUTION: A unit embossed pattern 1A is provided on an outer peripheral surface 11a of a can shell 11 of the metal can 10. The unit embossed pattern 1A includes an outermost peripheral bent line 2 formed at an outer peripheral edge of the unit embossed pattern 1A, a first cell surface 3 disposed in a center part inside the outermost peripheral bent line 2, a first bent line 4 formed at an outer peripheral edge of the first cell surface 3, and a plurality of second cell surfaces 5 disposed outside the first bent line 4 inside the outermost peripheral bent line 2. In the plurality of second cell surfaces, the second cell surfaces 5 and 5 adjacent to each other are bent from each other via a second bent line 6. Each of the second cell surfaces 5 projected to a reference outer peripheral surface 11z of the can shell 11 has a width W of 1.5 mm or more.
