<p>PURPOSE:To provide a new monoclonal antibody effective for easily detecting soybean infected with soybean mosaic virus in a short time owing to the property to specifically bind with soybean mosaic virus. CONSTITUTION:A monoclonal antibody recognizing soybean mosaic virus (SMV), having antibody class (subclass) of IgG1(kappa), IgG2(kappa) or IgG3(kappa) and exhibiting positive reaction to SMV. The antibody can be prepared by immunizing an animal with SMV separated and purified from soybean infected with SMV, fusing the splenocyte of the immunized animal to a myeloma cell, cloning the obtained hybridoma, selecting a clone capable of producing an antibody exhibiting specificity to SMV and letting the strain to produce the objective antibody.</p> |
