PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition with high adherability, also durable to long time service at elevated temperatures by bulk polymerization of each specific (meth)acrylic alkyl ester and carboxyl group-contg. monomer by a specific method. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is obtained by incorporating (I) a monomer mixture comprising (A) 75-92wt.% of the main monomer, essentially a (meth)acrylic 8-12C alkyl ester and (B) 25-8wt.% of a carboxyl group-contg. monomer having >=50 deg.C glass transition temperature of the homopolymer therefrom with (C) a polyfunctional monomer as inner crosslinking agent and (D) a hindered phenol-based antioxidant, followed by bulk polymerization. This composition has the following characteristics: (1) containing a crosslinked structure consisting of a copolymer of the components A and B, (2) isolubles into solvents of this structural part: >=80wt.%, (3) weight loss on heating at 120 deg.C for 240hr: >=3wt.%, (4) T-peel strength from a SUS plate: >=400g/20mm width, and (5) the loss factor at 60 deg.C, ca. 1KHz: >=0.05 (by half-width method). |
