PURPOSE:To give various variations of design to the exterior of a product easily at a low cost by a method wherein required pattern or the like is transferred onto skin material simultaneously with mold press molding by providing a transfer plate at the predetermined site of an upper mold in the mold press molding of an interior automotive trim, in which core material and the skin material are made into an integral body. CONSTITUTION:Mold press mold consists of a lower mold 20, with which core material is formed, and an upper mold 30. In the lower mold 20, a gate 22, through which resin under semi-molten state is fed from an extruder 21. In the molding surface of the upper mold 30, a plurality of magnets 33 are imbedded so as to fix a transfer plate 40. Simultaneously with the fixing of tire transfer plate 40 on the the upper mold 30 and the positioning of skin material 12 between the upper mold 30 and the lower mold 20, resin 60 under semi-molten state is distributingly fed on the molding surface of the lower mold 20. After that, the molds are clamped together so as to form the core material out of the resin 60 integrally with the skin material 12. At the same time, pattern or the like is transferred from the transfer plate 40 to the skin material 12, resulting in allowing to produce a decorative part. |
