PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric actuator that can suppress generation of cracks at a weld portion caused by tensile stress.SOLUTION: A piezoelectric actuator 1 includes a piezoelectric element 2 and a metal case 3 housing the piezoelectric element 2 therein. In the piezoelectric actuator, the metal case 3 is a bottomed cylindrical case having a weld portion on the outer periphery. In the weld portion 4, a plurality of weld spots 41 are continuously disposed on the outer periphery of the metal case 3 so that the weld spots 41 adjacent to each other are partially overlapped to form overlapping portions 42. The weld spots 41 arranged at positions different from those of the adjacent weld spots 41 in the extension/contraction direction are installed dispersively. |
