PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control system that boils water using an electric water heater and charges an in-vehicle battery on the basis of time-based power rate information, while efficiently reduce the power rate using limited contract demand and an allowable power.SOLUTION: In the power control system, a first communication means transmits information about charging of the in-vehicle battery, and a second communication means receives the information, and a boiling time calculation means calculates the boiling start time on the basis of the information about charging. When the time read from a clock means matches the boiling start time, a control determination means starts boiling by a boiling means. When detecting that an electric vehicle enters a garage during boiling, the control determination means interrupts the boiling, and starts charging the in-vehicle battery by a power supply means, and restarts the boiling after the end of the charging. |
