PURPOSE:To attain forming an excellent image even when the heat of a light source is large by suppressing the rise in temperature of a liquid crystal display pannel with simple structure in an electronic projector unit. CONSTITUTION:In the electronic projector unit provided with the liquid crystal display pannel, the liquid crystal display pannel is made a laminated body constituting of at least a liquid crystal layer 4a, glass substrates 4b, 4c holding both upper and lower surfaces of the liquid crystal layer between themselves and a light source side polarizing plate 4f provided on the lower side of the lower surface side glass substrate 4c, and further, a transparent thermal insulation layer 4e is provided between the glass substrate 4c and the light source side polarizing plate 4f, and the transmission of heat to the liquid crystal layer 4a is suppressed by the thermal insulation layer 4e. The thermal insulation layer is a transparent acrylic plate having a light transmittance nearly equal to the glass and with small thermal conductivity, and whose thickness is 3mm or above. Further, a block fixing the liquid crystal display pannel to the housing of the unit is integrated, and the bottom surface formed by the light source side polarizing plate is made a flat surface. |
