Process for the manufacture of reproductions of printing formes and the reproductions obtained according to this process

What is described is a process for the manufacture of reproductions of printing formes which are inked selectively with ink in the form of an image or pattern. The process is characterised in that a) a contact layer (4) consisting of an ink-affine film-forming material in a solvent or dispersant is applied to the printing forme (1) treated with ink (2); b.1) the solvent or dispersant is removed from the contact layer (4), a bonding layer (6) is applied to the contact layer and an image carrier or pattern carrier (7) is applied to the bonding layer and is connected over its surface to the bonding layer, or b.2) an image carrier or pattern carrier (7) is applied directly onto the contact layer (4) still wet with solvent or with dispersant and is connected over its surface to the contact layer; and c) the reproduction composed of the ink (2), contact layer (4), if appropriate bonding layer (6) and image carrier and pattern carrier (7) is separated from the ink-free printing forme.
