Soft drink having a content of sage extract and lemon balm extract and process for the production thereof

A refreshing beverage made of water and plant extracts is characterised in that the plant extracts are a mixture of sage extract and balm-mint extract. An extract of leaves or flowers of Salvia officinalis and an extract of leaves of Melissa officinalis are preferably used. It has been discovered that a tasty refreshing beverage may be obtained by associating the rather bitter sage extract with a balm-mint extract. This refreshing beverage may if required contain further usual additives and may or may not be carbonated. Also disclosed is a process for producing this refreshing beverage.
