<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buckling restraining brace in a simple structure, for improving productivity and improving a buckling restraining performance. <P>SOLUTION: A first buckling restraining member 3 is formed of a square metal cylinder 5, and one surface part of the square metal cylinder 5 is turned to a first buckling restraining surface part 6 for facing one single surface of a brace core material 2 and restraining buckling of the brace core material 2. A second buckling restraining member 4 is formed of a groove type metal material 7, and an inner surface of a web 12 of the groove type metal material 7 is turned to a second buckling restraining surface part 8 for facing the other single surface of the brace core material 2 and restraining the buckling of the brace core material 2. The square metal cylinder 5 is fitted inside a groove of the groove type metal material 7. Both flanges 9 of the groove type metal material 7 are fixed to the square metal cylinder 5 at or near two corner parts positioned on the opposite side of the first buckling restraining surface part 6 among four corner parts of the square metal cylinder 5 respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
