<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disinfection method showing a broad antibacterial spectrum and having excellent disinfection effect. <P>SOLUTION: In the disinfection method, light emitted from a light emitting diode is applied to a disinfection target while bringing the disinfection target into contact with a compound represented by general formula (1). In the formula: R<SB POS="POST">1</SB>and R<SB POS="POST">4</SB>are same or different 1C-4C straight/branched alkylene groups; R<SB POS="POST">2</SB>and R<SB POS="POST">5</SB>are hydrogen atoms, same or different halogen atoms, 1C-4C alkyl groups, or 1C-4C alkoxy groups; R<SB POS="POST">3</SB>is a 2C-12C straight/branched alkylene group; R<SB POS="POST">6</SB>is a 1C-18C straight/branched alkyl group; and Z is a chlorine atom, a bromine atom, an iodine atom or an OSO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>R<SB POS="POST">7</SB>group (wherein R<SB POS="POST">7</SB>is a 1C-4C alkyl group or a substituted/unsubstituted phenyl group). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
