A b s t r a c t A heavy lift crane arrangement is described. By combining, for example, a supply vessel (1) and a heavy lift crane (3), which is constructed with a semisubmerged foundation frame (4), it is possible to reduce the costs connected with the heavy lift crane, at the same time as the supply vessel may be utilized as such when it is not being used in the combined arrangement. The submerged frame of the heavy lift crane is connected with auxiliary pontoons which contribute toward supporting the heavy lift crane in the water when the crane is laid up.
